We are a Chicago-based commercial masonry and façade restoration contractor focused on the repair, reconstruction, and stabilization of masonry wall systems.
Our work addresses conditions commonly affecting urban buildings, including deteriorated mortar joints, masonry cracking and displacement, corroded steel elements, and water infiltration through façade assemblies. Projects are executed in accordance with applicable Chicago building codes, industry standards, and project documents.
Approach
Masonry and façade restoration requires a disciplined and methodical approach. We begin by reviewing existing conditions and identifying contributing causes of deterioration.
Repair scopes are developed to address structural integrity, control water intrusion, and maintain compatibility with existing masonry materials and assemblies. Work is sequenced to protect adjacent construction, maintain safe access, and minimize disruption to occupied buildings.
Technical Focus
Our experience includes restoration of brick, stone, and terra cotta façades commonly found in Chicago’s commercial and historic building stock. This includes early- and mid-20th-century masonry systems that require careful detailing, appropriate material selection, and coordinated integration of flashing, sealants, and steel components.
Where required, work is coordinated with façade consultants, structural engineers, and general contractors to ensure repairs align with project requirements and long-term performance objectives.
Execution & Accountability
All work is performed by experienced in-house crews with an emphasis on safety, access control, and job site organization. Clear communication is maintained throughout the project regarding scope, schedule, and field conditions, with photo documentation of existing conditions and completed work.
